Martha Gandy Fales, M'Lou, was a fellow in the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture and has a master's degree from the University of Delaware, class of 1954. She was Keeper of Silver at the H.F du Pont Winterthur Museum and over the years has served as a consultant to museums and historical societies.
